Intro

Santa Maria Bay offers the perfect escape from the chaos that many associate with Comino during the peak summer season. They approached us to help them increase sunbed bookings, all through a quick and easy online form. From web design to online advertising, we developed a campaign that allowed them to gain bookings and manage them easily. Here’s a look at the process:

Strategy

OBJECTIVES

The main objective was to increase sun-bed bookings
across all available slots. This was split into two objectives:

– Increasing awareness of the location and facilities
– Providing a quick and accessible way to book online

STRATEGY

We ran a two day sprint to identify users, discover problems and find creative solutions.

We created a Facebook campaign to educate the correct user profiles who would show interest in the all-inclusive package, along with a targeted Google Display campaign to catch users in motion.

WIREFRAME

Our first point of design was developing the wireframe of the one page site to communicate all aspects of Santa Maria Bay. From amenities to food selection, we wanted the user to have all information quickly accessible.

For the next design phase, the client really wanted to portray bright and the easy-going aesthetic of the seaside snack bar so we created a style guide based off their existing logo and using hints of the bar’s rustic look.

Brand Awareness

First, we captured a large net of users through a pool of engaging videos related to the beach, offers and services. Those who showed more interest were targeted with follow-up advertisements with a heavier sales push.

All together the videos amassed a total view count of 477,000.
