What Is Toggl?
Toggl is a time tracking software that will allow you to track the time you are spending on any given task by simply switching it on and off as you go along throughout your work day.
While any individual can use this, with this review we’d like to highlight some ways we here at ANCHOVY. digital marketing agency use it at our offices in Malta & Dubai.
How ANCHOVY. Is Using Toggl?
As a growing company, we are using Toggl to not only keep track of the time our employees are clocking in on their tasks, but also to be able to measure how much time a project for one of our clients is taking.
This over time allowed us to really optimise our workflow, increase productivity in the office and even were able to adjust (from the data we were getting from Toggl) how our time is spent, what on and to its utmost efficiency.
As we said at the beginning of this review, we have tried and used other similar tools and although they were not all bad, we decided to settle with Toggl due to it being the simplest yet the most powerful software we could find.

In a world full of sub-par apps, Toggl has really delivered with their great functionality of the app.
Our employees can now Toggle their hours literally from everywhere and anywhere in the world.
Easily Publish Reports
With the staff constantly toggling in their time on the tasks, we can easily publish up-to-date reports on the fly whenever we need to.
A very helpful feature and much more time-saving than doing it manually like we used to in the past.
Is It A Recommended Tool For Your Business?
If you have a company with multiple employees or if you’re a solopreneur, Toggl can help you become much more productive and time efficient.
If you’re a solo person that wants to Toggl, then we suggest you start with a free account and then consider going on to the pro plans (or business) if the need arises.
If you are a company like us, then you would want to go for the pro plans instead of the free membership as it will allow you to “toggl” and record all the minutes and hours your employees are clocking (and most importantly; on which project).
