The Situation

Halahi.com is a celebrity platform based in the UAE where you can purchase shoutouts from your favourite celebrity at fixed rates on a single platform.

Halahi approached ANCHOVY. to get their platform off the ground with a global launch campaign in strategic locations. ANCHOVY set a preset KPI of 8,333 users to be driven to halahi.com based off the client’s budget to which was agreed with the client.

The Situation

HalaHi is a celebrity platform based in the UAE where you can purchase shoutouts from your favourite celebrity at fixed rates on a single platform.

HalaHi approached ANCHOVY. to get their platform off the ground with a global launch campaign in strategic locations. ANCHOVY. had a preset KPI of 8,333 users to be driven to their website based on the client’s media budget.

What Did We Do?

ANCHOVY. went live with several digital marketing assets in India, France and the UAE. These locations were chosen based on the influencer’s home countries and leveraging them to bring users onto the Halahi platform.

The digital campaign was based off the user’s purchasing journey, which in the case of purchasing a celebrity shoutout there are two scenarios:

  • User buys on 1st-2nd visit of halahi.com due to emotional connection
    with a celebrity.
  • User waits for occasion to purchase shoutout for themselves or a friend

With this journey in mind, we built a campaign that will naturally push users to the Halahi platform. The campaign assets were:

  1. Ranking 1st on Google Search for key celebrity names in their home country.
  2. Celebrity doing shoutouts about halahi.com on their personal profiles.
  3. Competition posts to tag their friends and spread the word about halahi.com.
  4. Targeting users who have their own birthday or a friend’s birthday in the next 30 days.
  5. Retargeting users once they visit halahi.com but do not convert.

The Results

More than 10,000 users were driven to the platform within 30 days of launching directly from our campaign, which gave halahi.com an in depth insight on how their platform relates to their target audience and clear roadmap on how to improve their minimum viable product.

Where is HalaHi today?

Today, halahi.com is a platform that gets almost 100,000 users every month to their platform and is a major player in the influencer platform market.
